I wouldn’t need a second chance
Sara Bareilles - Love On The Rocks
No, Abby’s fine. Jazz and Michaela Berry-Lopez.
How’s Abby taking it? I hope everything is all right. I know we’ve had our difference but… wow. Are they okay?
Abby’s friends were in a wreck and it’s not good.
Are they okay? Who was it? Abby wasn’t with them right?
The few kisses placed to her neck as they held one another made the desire to have the other girl around all the more intense. Emery couldn’t explain her attraction to Faye. She didn’t know if it was the dimples that came when she smiled, or the curve of her back when they embraced, or if it was the mere fact that Faye Archer had just as dark of personality as she did. She slid her fingers through her hair as they made their way to her bedroom. As a kiss was placed on her lips, Emmy reached forward and held tightly onto each side of Faye’s shirt tightly, making sure she stayed put. “I missed you too, by the way.” She tapped the other girl’s nose and released her, sitting on her bed. “Birthdays aren’t a big deal… you didn’t have to get me anything.” Emery waved the girl off before laying backward and sighing. She was sure that none of this mattered. She was just another toy for Faye. This wasn’t a big deal. She was used to being nothing to someone. But she wasn’t used to be nothing to someone who she cared about. In fact, she wasn’t used to caring about much of anyone.
Faye sighed as she was held close and whimpered when Emery pulled away. She hated that feeling of emptiness. She listened and watched as the other girl laid down. Some sort of aching nagged at her. It had been there for weeks now. Most of the time Faye attempted to ignore it, guessing it was just because she missed Faye. Following her Emery to the bed, Faye straddled the girls hips. “You should show me how much you missed me.” She leaned down capturing her lips again. This time it was more than a peck. She needed to convey what her heart felt while they were apart. Sometimes they were a game to Faye. Sometimes they weren’t but she never stopped caring. She never stopped loving Emery. Every morning she woke up and thought about her. Every night she wished she was in her arms. In the end she was still her princess. Faye hovered over her lips once she pulled away. “You can say birthdays arent your thing and you can say that they don’t matter.” placing the tiny gift bag beside the other girl’s head, she laced both of their hands together. “I love you, so they matter to me.”
